Director of MVRDV’s Paris office and Architect, Nicolas leads French projects in the detailed development and execution stages for MVRDV’s France Studio. He was responsible for supervising the renovation of the Paris flagship store of ETAM (2020), the construction of housing project Ilot Queyries in Bordeaux (2021) and Ascension Paysagère in Rennes (2022), and the transformation of the shopping centres Lyon Part-Dieu (2021) and Gaîté Montparnasse (2022). Currently, Land is overseeing residential projects La Vallée Verte in Bordeaux and La Serre in Issy Les Moulineaux.

Prior to joining MVRDV in 2018, Land worked as an architect and office manager at Louis Paillard Architecte in France for eleven years. He lends an international perspective to his practice, having completed his architectural studies in both France and the Netherlands, at Ecole d’Architecture de la Ville & des Territoires à Marne-la-Vallée, the Ecole Nationale Supérieur d’Architecture de Paris La Villette, and at the Eindhoven Technical University in the Netherlands.
