Artwork begins to appear in the Markthal

undefined

The interior panels of the market hall's enormous 40 metre high interior arch are starting to appear. The panels, in total 11,000 m2, are specially printed with an art piece by Dutch aritst Arno Coenen, and may in fact be the largest piece of the art in the world. Visitors who take a look inside the arch will see a colourful sky filled with fresh vegetables, meat, fish, bread and flowers. It is a unique image that, together with the pioneering shape of the hall, will be known throughout the world.
