Pushed Slab in Paris has reached its highest point which was celebrated in a top-out ceremony last Friday. The 19,000 m² office building will be completed in May 2014. The building is a response to stringent sustainability and spatial flexibility criteria, as well as the desire for a high quality working environment, and the requirement to maintain protected views of Paris. It will be the first building to be constructed in 'Paris' first eco-quarter', according to the mayor of the arrondisment, and with an energy consumption 49 kWh per m2 per year it is uses at least one quarter of the energy of a typical office building.
