Letters to the Mayor: Berlin, is an initiative to promote a dialogue between architects, urban stakeholders and politics. The contributions provide an important impulse in the ongoing discussion about Berlin's future.
MVRDV co-founder and principal architect Jacob van Rijs wrote his letter as a part-time Berliner.
The exhibition Letters to the Mayor: Berlin, will open on November 15, 2019. The Governing Mayor of Berlin, Michael Müller, will be present and will receive all the letters. BDA President Susanne Wartzeck and Jinny Khanduja, Co-Director of Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York, will speak at the opening.
