MVRDV Project Manager Jeroen Zuidgeest will give a lecture at the University of Strathclyde titled, 'Towards Smarter Cities: Planning strategies for the development of intelligent, responsible and attractive cities.' The talk will explore how MVRDV approches the urban future with the ideals of making denser, greener and more pleasant cities which offer a high quality of life to their inhabitants. The lecture will cover projects such as the transformation of Oslo's Government Quarter, the deregulated zone, 'Freeland' in Almere and the work in one of Beijing's last remaining Hutongs.
