'What's Next' Winy Maas lectures at IIT Chicago on February 4th in Mies' Crown Hall

Winy Maas launches the Spring 2015 Dean's Lecture Series with The Morgenstern Chair Lecture. His Lecture, titled "What's Next", will take place on Wednesday, February 4th, at 6 p.m. in S. R. Crown Hall,  a building widely considered to be a masterpiece and the apotheosis of the modernist Mies van der Rohe's career. Winy will discuss the future of architecture and urban planning, both in the context of his work at MVRDV, and also with the Why Factory at TU Delft, his agenda-defining institute for research on the future city.


Founded in 1890, IIT is a Ph.D.-granting university with more than 7,700 students in engineering, sciences, architecture and design. All Dean's Lectures are free and open to the public.
