On 12th November, director Sven Thorissen is going to participate in the DGB Forum, organized annually by the Deutschen Bundesgartenschau-Gesellschaft mbH. This year, the forum focuses on the future of work and how changes in the working environment impact the design of buildings and urban spaces. Key topics include new ways of working, sustainable construction, the transformation of existing buildings, with a focus on innovative and sustainable approaches to future urban development.

In his presentation, Sven will explore the concept of agglomeration effects and how spatial proximity between businesses, research institutions and society can promote innovation and collaboration. Using the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn as an example, he will present the winning design by MVRDV and the latest developments of the campus, which aims to bring together 5,000 people working on the development and application of artificial intelligence.
