On Thursday September 18th, the MAXXI Museum in Rome will convene a full day of lectures and discussions on the topic of digital archives. Under the title "Digital Past | Future Archives", the day is intended as a forum for institutions, designers and archivists to share strategies and identify common solutions in the archiving of born-digital architecture. MVRDV associate and architect Leo Stuckardt will present MVRDV NEXT's digital archiving project MVRDV.Cloud, which was originally created as a way to make MVRDV's archives in the Nieuwe Instituut – the museum's first born-digital collection – accessible and understandable to the public.
- Date and time: 18 September 9:30–19:00 (CET)
- Location: Carlo Scarpa hall and MAXXI auditorium, MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts, Via Guido Reni, 4 A, Rome
