On June 11th, Daniel Diez will give a lecture on "Dissolving the Facade" at BED, the Building Envelope Design conference organised by Bait & Noy Ltd. Company in Kefar Sava, Israel.

As a BIM & Building Skins Specialist, Daniel will explain how BIM development, building renovation, and social sustainability can work together in creating beautiful, innovative, and functional buildings. To do so, he will showcase projects from MVRDV's portfolio such as Lyon Part-Dieu and Crystal Houses, where façade strategy and BIM coordination were integral to the success of the design in both concept and execution phases. 

Daniel Diez, an Associate and BIM & Building Skins Specialist at MVRDV, leverages his expertise in technically complex projects to help design teams conceptualise comprehensive façade strategies that are not only attractive, but also functional and sustainable. He has demonstrated these skills in several challenging projects, including MVRDV’s Lyon Part Dieu, where the façade strategy and BIM coordination have been integral to the success of the design, in both concept, and execution phases. In addition, Diez has experience across a broad range of design projects, ranging from residential buildings to commercial office towers, and from conceptual phases through to realisation.
