At MVRDV, we have a global scope, providing solutions to contemporary architectural and urban issues in all regions of the world. Our highly collaborative, research-based design method involves clients, stakeholders, and experts from a wide range of fields from early on in the creative process. The results are exemplary, outspoken projects that enable our cities and landscapes to develop towards a better future. Founding partner Winy Maas is getting interviewed about the vision of MVRDV concerning the future of the real estate industry at the NVM Business Innovatie 2021 on November 18.
The ‘M’ of MVRDV, Founding Partner and Principal Architect Winy Maas, has received international acclaim for his broad range of urban planning and building projects, across all typologies and scales. These are often self-generated, innovative, experimental, and theoretical. Maas challenges colleagues, clients, as well as students and collaborators at TU Delft’s The Why Factory – an internationally engaged think tank Maas established in 2008 – to challenge the boundaries of established standards to produce solutions that reimagine how we live, work, and play. Aside from his dedicated leadership role at MVRDV and professorship at TU Delft and elsewhere, Maas is widely published, actively engaged in the advancement of the design profession, and sits on numerous boards and juries, including the Spatial Quality Boards of Rotterdam.
The NVM Business Innovatie 2021 is all about what the future is going to look like. What will be ‘new normal'? Winy Maas gets interviewed by Jeroen Pauw about the future of offices, designing, client desires, and the new way of working and living. This is a private, invite-only event. However, there will also be a livestream. The main language is Dutch.
