With every project, MVRDV finds new creative approaches on how to deal with the land and transform the space. Additionally, it is also very important for us to prioritize the need of common nature spaces in order to bring flora and fauna into urban environments. Have you ever wondered how MVRDV has actually done it with Seoullo Skygarden? Then it would be a perfect opportunity to join the panel discussion ‘There is another way’ where MVRDV senior associate Kyosuk Lee is presenting on May 5.

Kyosuk Lee

Senior associate and architect Kyosuk Lee leads projects in MVRDV’s Asia Studio. Since joining the firm in 2009, he has realized a variety of projects. Among these, Seoullo 7017 Skygarden in South Korea and the Tianjin Binhai Public Library in China. Lee is currently overseeing the construction completion of Paradise City entertainment development, and the Tancheon Waterfront Development in Seoul and a folly structure in Gwangiu in South Korea.

‘There is another way’ is an event that is devoted to the best international projects presented in the current exhibition ‘Land for us all’ in the Austrian Museum of Architecture in Vienna. The panel discussion includes a project presentation by each participant, which will be followed by a discussion. The event is relevant for professionals, government officials, but also students and anyone interested in the topic.
