On March 18, MVRDV co-founder Jacob van Rijs will present our award-winning project WERK12 during the kick-off lecture of JUNG, which happens parallel to the exhibition of the Deutsches Architekturmuseum. WERK12 in Munich won this year’s DAM Preis. The DAM Prize for Architecture is an annual award for the most outstanding buildings in Germany.

WERK12

‘’The area of the Werksviertel-Mitte district in Munich has already undergone such interesting changes, transforming from a potato factory to a legendary entertainment district. With our design, we wanted to respect and celebrate that history, while also creating a foundation for the next chapter. WERK12 is stylish and cool on one hand, but on the other it doesn’t take itself so seriously – it’s not afraid to say ‘PUH’ to passers-by!” – Jacob van Rijs

  • Date & time: March 18 – 18:00-19:00 (CET).
  • You can join the online lecture (in German) here.
