The pandemic has changed our city centers, maybe permanently. Do new food service concepts have to be invented in order to satisfy the changing needs of city dwellers? And how are our cities changing in general? MVRDV Partner Jan Knikker will give a keynote on the future of inner cities - and the role of gastronomy in it – during the 39th International Foodservice Forum on March 15.

As Partner at MVRDV, Jan leads the Contracts, Business Development and Public Relations efforts, forming a client-oriented, fast, and strategic studio that includes a strong visualisation team. He leads MVRDV’s branding efforts and has overseen the practice’s rapid expansion into new markets, focusing on solutions for global issues through its architecture and urbanism.

The International Foodservice Forum is a yearly, unique food industry event in Hamburg. This year, the forum will take place on a digital stage for the first time with cutting-edge lectures and panel discussions. The event is in German and will be live broadcasted.
