MVRDV Senior Project Leader Kristina Knauf is part of the Lab Talk "Hinterland: Landlust und Frust. Das Tierwohl zwischen Konsumgesellschaft und Agrarökonomie" (Hinterland: Country lust and frustration. Animal welfare between consumer society and agricultural economy), organized with Kuratorium für Technik und Bauwesen in der Landwirtschaft e.V. (KTBL), Darmstadt.

The Lab Talk at ANCB The Aedes Metropolitan Laboratory, Berlin, on Tuesday 3 March, looks at the developments in rural areas that have receded into the background while worldwide urbanisation has sharpened the focus on city dwellers and their needs. For some time now, the ANCB has been focusing on the development of the rural region from a spatial, architectural perspective in a series of events. The current exhibition, Architecture for Pigs at the Aedes Architecture Forum, is the backdrop for this Lab Talk.

Date: Tuesday 3 March, 18.30h

Location:  ANCB The Aedes Metropolitan Laboratory, Christinenstr. 18-19, 10119 Berlin
