At the initiative of the Stadslab Hoogkwartier and the municipality of Rotterdam, AIR is organising a talk show on Tuesday 11 February on how the transition to innovative, clean mobility can be used as a means of generating spatial quality.
Led by presenter Geert Maarse, MVRDV Associate Sanne van Manen and Marco Stout (Stadslab Hoogkwartier) will talk about a unique experiment initiated by residents of the Hoogkwartier: the Mobility Challenge Hoogkwartier, in which local residents made use of partial transport for two months. By transforming the vacant space into lively, green spaces for the neighbourhood, this experiment makes a direct link between mobility and the improvement of public space.
Date: 11 February 2020, 19.30-21.30
Location: Kantine Walhalla, Veerlaan 11, Rotterdam - get your free tickets here. The event will be in Dutch.
