10 years ago, MVRDV envisioned a sustainable future for Switzerland; Super Zurich formed a part of the project, a condensed metropolis, in the middle of a country made up of parklands, with the artificial lakes and marshes forming a major water storage facility for the whole of Europe. How much of this radical utopian vision has been realise? How can the vision be updated? But most of all, how does one create policies which can further such radical designs? Corine Mauch, Mayor of Zurich, will outline her own visions for the city, erse, sustainable and inclusive Zurich, and a discussion will be held on how to realise these visions.
